In this Program, Jennifer Thoreson will share the secrets to the creation of her most breathtaking, lyrical images of women, the thought process behind the work, and unique, stunning methods for finishing and presentation. While we explore formal qualities of delicately balanced images; the figure, form, line, texture, light, shape, and space, we will equally consider integrity, style, mood, intricacy, and spirituality. We will investigate complex, sensitive practices of portrait-making, focusing on ideas of physical empathy, trust, connectivity, musicality, language and mannerism, and the element of touch. During the course, Jenn will show you hundreds of inspiring images, fresh and innovative ideas for photographing women, clothing and styling ideas, simple and stunning lighting technique, exquisite posing, and handmade, antiqued printing techniques your clients will crave.
